Aim and Scope

The Medical Integrated Student Research Journal is an independent, peer-reviewed, open access student research journal that encourages the submission of manuscripts from around the world, and from a wide range of academic fields. It is, dedicated to the publication of high-quality undergraduate and graduate student research. The journal welcomes academic articles from all disciplinary areas and all universities in diverse medical fields. All articles undergo rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and refereeing by two or three anonymous referees.

The primary aim of the Medical Integrated Student Research Journal is to engage undergraduate and graduate students in scholarly activity as authors as they develop into professionals. Our aim extends to be the primary diffusion organ for students, using standards that accredit the process of scientific publication. In accordance with this aim, on manuscript submissions, it is mandatory that at least one author be a student that has played a prominent role in the overall study.
